Eddy Lifting Platform

The "EDDY" lifting platform is designed for the safe lifting and transport of people and loads inside buildings or in limited spaces. This platform offers a range of technical features that make it versatile and efficient.

Technical features include:

  • Maximum load: It can carry a maximum load of 300 kg, allowing the transport of heavy objects or one person at a time.
  • Speed: The platform travels at 0.14 m/s.
  • Stops: The lifting platform can have from 2 to 6 stops.
  • Access points: The platform can be fitted with up to 3 access points.
  • Travel: The maximum travel of the platform can reach 15 metres.
  • Pit: The platform pit is 16 cm, i.e. the space required below floor level for the safe and stable installation of the device.
  • Headroom: The headroom, i.e. the free space above the platform, is 260 cm.

These technical features of the lifting platform combine functionality, safety and adaptability to meet the different vertical transport needs within buildings.

Platform features

Car

The car can be made of self-supporting panels in plastic-coated sheet metal, in sheet metal clad with plastic laminate or in RAL-painted sheet metal.
It can be customized with a half-wall or full-wall mirror. A telephone can be added at the customer’s request.

For panoramic shafts the ideal solution is a car with glazed panoramic walls, which allow a view of the outside and at the same time integrate the machine into its surroundings.

Car lighting

The car operating panel, made of plastic-coated sheet metal or stainless steel, is equipped with:
- Floor selection buttons
- Alarm button
- Mushroom-head stop button
- Key switch
- Overload indicator
- Emergency light
- Door-open button (only for systems with automatic doors)
Usually arranged horizontally, it can be arranged on a full-height column on request.

  • Battery-powered alarm
  • Manual descent by continuous action on a dedicated valve
  • Hand pump for manual emergency ascent
  • Special key for releasing the safety locks of the landing doors
  • Automatic return to the floor in case of power failure
